ICSOC independently recognizes educational institutions and publishes the result for everyone to see. Search for an institution to see its status and its details in seconds.
Have a certificate? Check its number.
Choosing where to study is a big commitment. Before you pay a fee or share personal details, take a minute to look the institution up.
Type the institution's name or website. Every institution we know about has its own page.
Each page states clearly whether the institution is recognized or unrecognized, with the details we hold.
If an institution shows you an ICSOC certificate, enter its number to confirm it is genuine and still valid.
We keep the labels simple and honest. Here is exactly what each one tells you.
STATUS:RECOGNIZED
The institution applied, shared its organisational details and passed our review. It holds a certificate with a number and an end date, and its page shows our ribbon on its logo.
STATUS:UNRECOGNIZED
The institution is listed from public information, but its owner has not asked us to recognize it. This is not a warning, but it means we have not checked anything.
STATUS:EXPIRED / REVOKED
A recognition lasts for a limited time and can be withdrawn. When it lapses or is revoked, the ribbon is removed and the page says so.
These figures are read live from the register, so they always match what you will find when you search.
Applying is simple: share your organisational details, we review them, and if you pass you receive a public badge and a certificate you can display at your reception.
STATUS:RECOGNIZED
This is how a recognized institution appears on the register. The certificate carries a unique number that anyone can look up.
What recognition is not. ICSOC is not a government body or an academic accreditor. Recognition confirms an institution's identity and the organisational details it gave us. It is not a guarantee of teaching quality, results or any particular outcome. Read the full policy.
