A clear, public process: institutions share their details, we review them, and the result is published for everyone.
Use the search page to find an institution by name or website. Every institution on the register has its own page.
You will see STATUS: RECOGNIZED or STATUS: UNRECOGNIZED. A recognized institution also shows our ribbon on its logo.
Enter the number on the check page. The result tells you whether it is genuine, expired or revoked.
Send us your organisation's details through the application form. If you are already listed, you can claim your page.
We check your legal identity, contact details and the information you publish against our recognition policy, and may ask for supporting documents.
If you pass, your page is updated to RECOGNIZED and your certificate is issued. If something is missing, we tell you what is needed.
Print the certificate for your reception wall. Anyone can scan its QR code or enter its number to check it online.
The full list is in our recognition policy. In summary:
The institution is a real, registered organisation and its name, country and registration details match what it tells the public.
The person applying can show they genuinely represent the institution and control its website and official email.
Where an institution says it is licensed or accredited by another body, we ask for evidence and check it with the issuer where we can.
Courses, fees, refund terms and teaching staff are described clearly and honestly on the institution's own website.
We take into account concerns reported to us and any public evidence of misleading practice.
A recognition lasts 12 months. After that it must be renewed, or the status reverts and the ribbon is removed.
Independent and not for sale. A status is decided by our review, never by who contacts us or who pays. We list institutions whether or not they take part, which is why every institution starts as UNRECOGNIZED until it is reviewed.
